The historic property Moidart was established in 1932. In subsequent years it developed a large cold climate garden which has become one of the iconic gardens of the Southern Highlands of NSW.
Famous for its collection of rare plants, bulbs, trees and shrubs a nursery was opened in 1970 to propagate many of these rare specimens to make them available to other nurseries, landscapers and garden lovers.
Our horticulturist has selected a number groundcovers, woodland and alpine plants and shrubs and made them available for purchase on our ON-LINE SHOP.
This is only a small selection of what we offer on site at our wholesale Bowral nursery.
We have a section open to the public Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.00pm all year round for more rare plants on sale (including trees) and in larger sizes for some available on our website.
The famous gardens at Moidart are open for a number of weeks each spring and at other times for bus tours and groups by arrangement - see our Open Garden page for details.
Members of the public can also purchase a select range of plants at the nursery during Open Days and year round from 9.30am to 2.00pm Mondays to Fridays.
